OVER HEAD TANK:
Over head reservoirs are constructed in villages, towns,etc., to supply protected drinking water supply. Generally R.C.C.over head tanks are constructed at higher elevation and water is pumped to tanks and will be supplied to the people.
Constructed of over head tanks starts with earth work excavation,bed concrete, R.C.C. Footings,columns, brace beams,base slab, side walls, top slab, etc. inlet pipe,outlet pipe, over flow, float, valves, pipe lines,etc. are to be laid.
